Adorned in signature tropical patterns and carefully crafted weaves, each piece in the YNDAN PH Cotton Collection lets intricate Filipino craftsmanship speak for itself.
Born amidst the pandemic, YNDAN is a Filipino, female-founded slow fashion brand connecting the local artisans and communities of Indang, Cavite through clothing.
Taking inspiration from a tree of the same name, YNDAN serves as an embodiment of the town’s spirit of abundance and freedom.
With the goal to “push Filipino culture and tradition to the forefront of sustainable fashion,” YNDAN honors textile tradition as practiced by the local weavers and sewers of Indang, who share a passion for weaving years of stories through the delicate process of hand-sewn clothing.
Ready to take on the rest of 2023 with a newly-refreshed website, the work to continue bridging Filipino culture and community through clothing is all set for this rising slow fashion brand, as they challenge the fashion industry to slow down and support local artisans by preserving the local cultural traditions of handloom weaving.
Currently, YNDAN houses pieces made of 100% cotton and proudly labeled as panlalaki, pambabae, and pambata on their site. Community-driven and carefully curated, the YNDAN PH Cotton Collection invites Filipinos to elevate their wardrobe and shopping philosophy.
